Our Scandinavian Premiere will be at this year’s CPH:DOX, the largest documentary festival in Scandinavia, and one of the most important doc fests in the world. The festival takes place from November 4-14th, and there will be three screenings of the film: November 6th at 2:20pm, November 10th at 9:30pm and November 14th at 5:30pm. We will be screening at the 33rd Starz Denver Film Festival this November. The festival takes place from November 3-14, and we will have one screening on Sunday, November 14th at 4pm at the King Center. This is one screening you won’t want to miss as it’s your one chance to interact with most of the crew and local participants! A special music guest will also be in attendance. Our Italian premiere will be at this year’s Rome International Film Festival. The festival will take place from October 28th-November 5, and we will have three screenings: Monday, November 1st at 6:30pm, Tuesday, November 2nd at 6pm, and Wednesday, November 3rd at 5:30pm. Tickets go on sale October 12th, so mark your calendars. Director Alexandre O. Philippe and DP/Producer Robert Muratore will be in attendance.
The film will be premiering in Norway at the 2010 Bergen International Film Festival, taking place from October 20-27. We are fortunate to have three screenings, so lots of opportunities for you and your friends to see the film. We are bringing the film to Hawaii for the 30th Hawaii International Film Festival. The festival takes place from October 14-24th, and the film will have two screenings. SF DocFest has invited us to be part of their 2010 program and screen in George’s backyard! The festival takes place in San Francisco from October 14th – 28th, and the film will screen twice: Sunday, October 24th and Thursday, October 28th. We couldn’t be more excited that the 43rd Sitges Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantastic de Catalunya has selected our film for this year’s edition! The festival will take place October 7-17 and the film will screen one night only on October 12th @ 7pm. Both Alexandre O. Philippe and Robert Muratore will be in attendance, so be sure to mark your calendars and get your tickets in advance.
We are part of the line-up at this year’s American Film Festival in Poland. The festival takes place in the city of Wroclaw from October 20th-24th, and we will have two screenings. The first takes place on October 22nd at 16:15, and the second on October 24th at 13:15. Tickets go on sale on October 1st at noon. Mark your calendars!
We are very fortunate that on top of screening our film at the upcoming San Diego Film Festival, the doc will be hosted by Chris Gore followed by a Q&A with producer Vanessa Philippe. And in case that wasn’t enough San Diego fans, pull out your SW costumes (we know you have some) as we’re having a contest! The festival takes place from September 29 – October 3, and the film will screen on October 1st @ 8pm, Gaslamp Theatre.
